Default Nardi Steering Wheel

I bought a Nardi steering wheel for my 1995 wagon as my standard one is ugly, it wasn't until it arrived that i realised...no airbag. i swapped my steering wheel now the airbag light is on, I have swapped back for the time being is there anyway of switching the light off. Or can anyone suggest an alternative

You need a resistor. See here:

I had the same problem a while back after swapping my airbag seats for non-aribag ones.
As said, pay a visit to Maplins

you need to use a relay or something to make it think the airbag is still there

Thanks for the help guys, I got myself down to Maplins bought a couple of 3ohm resistors. I had a look under the seat but no plug I'm guessing that because i've only got a airbag in the steering wheel the looming may not run there unless its tucked under the carpet

I tried putting the resistors in the plug that goes to the steering wheel airbag there is three wires going to the plug tried jamming in the resistors in different combinations but no joy

You should still have something under the seat as you have the pre-tensioners coming off the seatbelts. Make sure that you've got the battery off etc, as these are what set the airbag off.

No I haven't but I know how airbags work as I replaced a few along with pre-tensioners on damaged cars I've bought.
I've never had one go off on me yet, but once the pre-tensioners on the seatbelt go off, they are no good and usually damage the seat belt mechanism anyway.
