Hi all,

seem to remember a while ago someone describing how to remove the dash cup holder, to install a Geodesy in there ! I have tried looking back but cant remember which forum it was in let alone how long ago it was, any ideas ?????

Cheers

my99/00; there's a 3rd screw under the cupholder

To get to this you need to remove the facia around the heater controls etc, and remove the 4 screws holding the heater/fan control assembly on.

You can then push this lot back and down....which hopefully gives enough room to get a screwdriver in to undo the last screw.

Then use brute force over ignorance to get the damn thing out - just about fits without breaking the surround....

Good Luck
Richard

Now done this, that 3rd screw is a b@gger, then you have to ease the whole thing out. {a piccie to follow soon}

One question, have people secured their Geodesy in the gap, or just left it wedged in?

cheers,

greg
