my driver side does it, passenger side now and again. has done since i bought it. i thought it was since it had been lying in a garage for nearly 2 years before i got it, but its still doing it..

Got it on my 52 plate WRX as well.Thought it would go away after awhile but no such luck. It seems to be when you pull the belt over the B-pillar mounting point. I think it might be friction over the plastic but I cant think of any way to fix it. I cant grease or oil it as it would go onto the belt. Had considered trying some kind of polish or even fine sandpaper.

GUYS,
Im sure i saw a post on here a long time ago, what you need to do is remove the seat belt pillar/cover, and where the 2 pieces of material join at the bottom, you must remove the burr, i beleive this is a common fault, I def have it on my o2 wrx sti, but i havent got round to doin it yet.
