And replace it with one of these :-

I understand that the Standard Momo Boss Kit won't fit or work when replacing an Air-bag wheel.

Modifications can be made to the Boss Kit, but what are they ?

GGR list a modified Boss Kit, but last time I enquired they said it was no longer available.

Has anyone else fitted an after market wheel ?

Apexi or Cusco makes a wheel boss that disables the driver's airbag computer. I think it's the right thing for u if u want to ditch the pre-MY98 plastic airbag wheel.

Have you seen it ? it's like driving a bus.

Airbags arn't as safe as their made out to be + if my Subaru was a Jap import and not a UK it wouldn't have an airbag anyway.

Wink

I wouldn't remove it as I believe that one saved my life..

I emailed you the pictures Scott.

Need some web space so I can post them..

It might look pants but I'd rather be wearing an airbag rather than a body bag... they do work.

PLEASE ! keep your airbag I used to work for TRW who make airbags and they have saved 100s of thousands of lifes there their for a reason believe me I have seen horific pictures.

Think about it

as far as them not being safe thats b0llocks they may have killed one or two people who had not got seatbelts on (! again dont do it) they do break thumbs and wrists and even bust noses but they are minor compared to the alternative

PLEASE keep the bus wheel its not that bad !!
