Question need help MY99 classic

could someone help me with 2 items please. 1st: the centre dash panel in my 1999 classic, the panel where the radio and ashtray sit, how does it come off?? is it screwed, pushed on... if someone knows, please will ya let me know...

2nd, where is the ECU for the engine located?? something about it been in the passenger footwell i have been told?!?! is this true..

Ecu is in the passenger footwell. You need to remove the trim panel along the door sill, peel the carpet back, and it's under a metal cover. Your passengers will have been resting their feet on it

dash center needs 2 screws removing on top i think and then just pulls out and the ecu is under the passenger foot well carpet m8 hope this helps

cheers guys! do you now the location of the screws for the centre dash...

also.. the scooby i have has a decat, full magnex, chipped, and when i have been driving hard, it smells of burning oil, but isnt actually smoking and it dont use much oil.. 56k on the clock n full serv history.. andbody had any similar experiences??
