How do u keep your knob up ?

Having just replaced the standard gearknob on a MY00, what ideas have people come up with for keeping the gater tight to the ****.
TSL will be doing mine soon but just interested in other ideas ?

I found a very simple soloution to this problem when I fitted my Air Race leather and aluminium to my MY01.
Buy a 14mm washer. Slide this on over the gearstick and it will sit neatly on top of a lip lower down. Then clip the gaiter over this washer. Once you have screwed on the Gearknob it will hold the gaiter firmly between the washer and **** and it will not slide up and down.
