Does anyone know if it is possible to extend the wheel closer to the driver? spacers?...
Being of longer proportions I have to move the seat back to the max but then have to have the top part bolt upright to reach the wheel.

MY'98 (with Momo Airbag wheel).

Appreciate any advice.

Thanks. I asked at my Subaru dealer today and they hadn't heard of such a thing. Is GGR a Subaru Dealership?

They took it off the menu apparently, difficulties fitting made it too much hassle.

Thanks for the info anyhow.

Jerry,

Try fitting a 'snap-off' steering boss, I fitted one on the weekend.

The wheel is sitting about 2-3in closer to me than it was before! It feels like I am in a rally car!!!

I think i will get the boss modded to make it a bit shorter....

Call demon tweeks, they will sort this out for you, sounds like a good solution to me?

Dunno if you can do it with an airbag car though????

cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul, I'll make some enquiries. I suspect that the Airbag may complicate things tho'.

Cheers,

Jerry.

In the new 2002 Demon Tweeks catalogue there is an OMP wheel extension.

It looks about 50mm and will fit any wheels with the 6 bolt MOMO/OMP fixing.

Jerry - why not just get your legs shortened or yours arms lengthened?
