right, ive managed to get a nice aftermarket steering wheel which uses a 6 bolt pattern (or momo). on speaking to many suppliers they say they only sell bosss for non airbag models (presume imports) after removing my airbag etc will my car become a non airbag model and will these bosses fit my car without problems, the car is a early uk car.

CAN YOU GET A BOSS KIT TO SPECIFICALLY FIT A UK CAR ONCE THE AIRBAG HAS BEEN REMOVED OR WILL ANY RELEVANT SUBARU BOSS FIT? IE JAP OR NON AIRBAG KIT

IIRC Nitosport were doing a boss to allow this.

Your car would then be effectively without a driver's air bag. You HAVE cleared this with your insurers, haven't you?
