Default gauge pods

any owners of classics got pillar mounted gauge pods and what do you think of them? i am wanting oil temp and pressure and have seen one or two a pillar mounted pods and wondered if they were any good as opposed to the 3 gauge pods that go where the storage bin is on the dash and if they are easy enough to fit taking into account wiring etc. ta.

I have the early style dash, so had not a lot of choice. Fitted the RCA 2 gauge A pillar pod. Loads of space inside for the wires, and tucks between the dash and a pillar so the wires are hidden where they enter the dash.

Same as above - MY97 so not a lot of choice for 3 gauges.

Got a triple pod from j-w-racing:

(can't actually see this picture due to filtering at work - I got the link from another thread, so hopefully it's the right one ).

I had the same dilemma as you wanted oil press/temp and didnt want to get a 2/3 gauge a-pillar pod as it blocks you vision quite a lot and i knew that the AVCr was going in a centre pod, so my solution was to get a SPA dual LCD gauge from Demon tweeks and a single a-pillar pod from j-w racing.
