Heater vent gauge pod
Does anyone know where i can get a triple gauge pod to replace the centre heater vent on a classic. Scoobymods do the exact thing i am after but i think they must have ceased trading, i've been trying to contact them for months but the phone goes straight to answer phone and i've never had a reply, their website says they are re-furbing and will be trading again on 1st november 2004 ???
Anyone know?

Don't seem to be too many mounting options on the older classic unless you want to pillar mount them, which personally i don't like... Got 3 homeless gauges sitting in my lounge at the moment...
Did think about DIN mounting mine, in the spare radio aperture, but concerned there gonna be a bit low down & not found a decent DIN gauge holder yet anyway...

Tell me about it, i ended up fitting an 'A' pillar trim pod, but it's not the universal one, its made specifically for the classic, although i was'nt too keen, when it's fitted it looks quite good, and not as obtrusive as i expected.
It's colour matched exactly with 3 holes for gauges, the only prob i had was that it does'nt have any fixings, it comes with a strip of double sided velcro......Dunno how you are supposed to use that when the 'A' pillar is flat and the trim is'nt! I cut the fixings off the old one and bonded them onto the new one.
There is one that scoobymania do, 3pod that sits on top of the dash, just below the 'A' pillar, theres a pic on their site.
