Removing seat rail sliders on STi seats

Does anyone know how to do this? I am mixing and matching parts between the STi passenger (driver for me) seat and a U.S. spec Forester seat to get height/tilt adjustment.

Is is possible to remove the slider--the piece that actually bolts to the floor--from the seat rails?
