In a quest to quieten down the rear space in MY00 wagon, I've got myself a roll of sound deadening felt that I used to use in my old Triumph Spitfire... The plan is to fold the seats down, and remove the trim panels on the boot space sides so that I can attach the felt to the inside of the rear wings. Question is, are these panels easy enough to remove - I've broken plastic clips in the past and don't really want to knacker up the interior.. anyone done this before, if so to what level of success?

Cheers, Nick

I just glued the felt to the underside of the loadspace carpet upto the bottom of the seatbacks, this made a noticable difference especially on M-Way cruise.

Rather than felt try using Dynamat or similar (or both). Thsi adheres to the inside of panels and stops resonance.

Also if you put it behing the speakers in the doors it increases bass output

hope this helps
