Question

The drivers side armrest has recently gained an indentation right where I rest my elbow. I've put >40K miles on Scoob (ie. 3-4 years wear and tear) but even so, you'd expect this to last a bit longer! Is this a common problem?

Mine did crack pretty early on - had it replaced under warranty.

I could leave finger impressions on my MY98. The MY00 is either a bit firmer or I'm not gripping so hard - age?

Thumbs down

I've got the same problem on my MY99.

It's definetly cracked. I could probably get it fixed under warranty, problem is i've got for around £30 of sound deadening foam glued the backside of the door trim.

Tony, do you know if the dealer replaced the whole door trim or just the armrest (I don't think this is possible as the whole trim seems to be one single piece).

I'm not certain, but it looked like it was all one piece to me.
