Anyone replaced std. fr. seats with RECARO's ?

Am looking for experience of anyone who's replaced standard MY98/99 front seats with something better like RECARO's.
While the standard SUBARU seats look OK - I find them to squishy. The side bolsters have too much 'give' and the driving position too high.
This is maybe due to my 8 yrs of driving a '86 RS Escort Turbo with RECARO's (model "n-joy"
