Ive just picked up the car from the garage, complete with a new WR sport boost guage fitted.

The problem ive got is that the needle seems to be a bit stuck? When you floor it the needle goes all the way round to .1 on the reading. However when i lift off, it just kind of sticks at about .07/6 but slowly nad i mean slowly as in about an hour goes back down to zero. Now im assuming that this cant be right , has anybody else experienced this? is it just a fault? does it need bedding in?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Neil.

Question

Sounds either defective, or wrongly fitted.

My Defi one is up and down like a yo-yo with every blip of the throttle.

Think they haven't fitted it right if thats the case, or the gauge is faulty.

Which dealer u use Neil?

Will make a note to avoid them!

Talking

The feed 2 the guage might be slightly crimped..so the high pressure from boost will get past the obstruction but cant quite leak back again.

ive checked the tube, its not squashed or bent too sharply, so im beginning to think that it may be the guage, does anybody have any idea how to get them out again???
