Somebody's sat BluTak into my MY99 seat

Any suggestions on how to remove it?

Cheers,

Thumbs up

I had the same with cheewing gum. Use plumbers pipe freeze if bag of ice doesn't work. Worked for me but use the edge of a spoon to scrape off as the material is v/brittle when frozen, a knife is to sharp.

My wife is a Brownie leader & her car is always full of junk like this - I cleaned her car the other day, and she had got Blu-Tak stuck into the fabric of her rear seats, and also on a seatbelt - I used Panel Wipe - a spirit used by Car Painters for de-greasing panels before spraying, this melted the Blu-Tak and it just sort of rolled off onto my cloth.

I thought when it dried it may leave a greasy mark, but no - did the job perfectly & it came off easily - I was surprised as when I saw it I was a little cross with my wife as I thought I would never get it out.

May also be worth trying Standard Thinners, just test an iconspicuous area of trim first!
