Boost guage cable routing??
I'm in the process of fitting a 60mm HKS boost gauge in to my early WRX (without the top box) to the top center of my dash,
I was just wondering where to run the cables. Could I get access from the windsceen heater vent, and whats the shortest run to tap in to the manifold pressure, is there anything to the ecu, or have I got to go through the baulk head to the the top of the manifold??
Cheers in advance, Roy

My cables for boost, OT, OP, Knock and Lamda, all came through an oval shaped blanking grommet I found on the passenger side of the bulkhead. It comes out/goes back very easily, and I just cut an X shaped slit in it for the wires.
Poke them into the car from the egine compartment with a bit of stiffer wire: I used single and earth lighting wire, then taped the wires I wanted, in place, and pulled them through.

Well mine sees -0.8 bar on tickover, up to +1.3 bar on boost, but it has been remapped by Bob Rawle
:
1bar is about 14.5psi, so you can go from that if your meter is in those units.
