anybody know of any way to get rid of it?

Don't know if this is the right place to post, but it should get most exposure.

I believe Chips Away and similar do plastic repairs to dash and trim. Look them up in Yellow Pages or click here

depends how nasty. covered a coupla minor scratches on my glovebox with a black marker, smudged in with fingers. have to look really hard to see...

It's just behind the clock on the dash not too deep but very noticable. Managed to scratch it taking the bit of the dash with the clock out and not being carefull, damn plastic clips!

Don't know if I am brave enough to give it a go..

I think (as has been mentioned)that Chips away have an offshoot called Trim Fix or something like that , that specialize in that sort of thing .
