Anyone fitted an aluminium dash kit.
1. Does it look good
2. Is it easy to fit.
Any info gratefully accepted. Seen one from Revolution and wonder if ok.
Thanks

there's quite a few threads on this if u do a search but presuming your talking about the stick on type kits they can do alright but their weakness is in fact they r just stick ons & may peel off &/or look tacky. If it's a replacement liek i believe nitosport & similar places do (altrhough in carbo) then it should be better as it'a a direct replacement. Best from wot i've seen is where ppl just clean & paint their original bits & while i haven't got round to it my cunning plan was to get all the surrounds from a breakers then i can take time doing it rather than pulling mine out, paintint b4 sticking back in

Thanks for the reply. It was the stick on one I was considering. My worry was it would start to come off also. Suppose you could always stick it again though

really high quality kits are about 110 quid, available from streetworkz in croydon 0208 239 8840. www.streetworkz.co.uk. They fix on with the bonding resin used for spoilers iirc and are very unlikely to come off.

That looks really good but if money is a worry, £5 from B&Q gets you this...........

If your talking about mine then its the ridged plastic face that is there sprayed silver with a £5 can of silver spray from B&Q. I was really pleased with the results
