I have just fitted and oil pressure guage and it all works fine I think, but I am not sure what it is telling me and if what it is telling me is worth worrying about.
when I start the car from cold in the morning the guage reads 7 and it usually settles between 3 and 4 when idleing but around 6 when driving if I sit and pumpo the accelerator it moves up and dine like a mini rev counter. So can someone tell me if 7 is high or not and when should I start to think there might be something wrong if the pressure drops below what point.
Cheers

Mine's in PSI, and goes up to 100. It sits at over 100 until the engine is warm even at idle...
For idling when warm, with Motul 15W/50 I see 40-50 PSI which is quite a lot higher than using thinner oil.
1BAR is about 14.5PSI, so 7 is around 100 (same as you when warming up).
40PSI is 2 and a bit bar... 50 is 3 and a bit.
I'd get worried if I ever saw under 20PSI, which is about 1 and a bit
Hope this helps somewhat
