HKS Boost Gauge advice
#1
I've got one but can't read the Jap install manual..
There's a restrictor you can fit on the T-peice for the feed to the boost gauge, it has a pin-sized hole. Since the gauge already has a 'restrictor' fitted as standard, would having two in the line cause the reading to be lower than normal? I'm not sure if the restrictors are there just to give stable boost readings. Anyone know?

A'S',
i thought the same when i fitted mine. make sure you do fit the brass restrictor in the t-peice. it stops the needle flapping about. dont ask me why you need 2 restrictors but branko at br developments told me so and i didnt wanna argue with him he was right though, the needle moves really smoothly but doesnt seem to lag behind.

Thanks Stu.
I've re-fitted the 2nd restrictor, but made the hole slightly large (only a fraction) and now it reads full boost instantly without any needle flap when the throttle is released. The HKS gear is real quality!
