Question

One of my bulbs has blown behind my heater controls on my MY99 I bet its a bitch to replace too ain't it?

Grateful of any tips on how to get behind the dash to replace it and also what type and where to source a replacement bulb from?

Cheers
Neil.

should only be a couple of screws holding the unit in place and then gently prise it out of the dash, the rest is just a case of undoing 3 screews and replacing the bulb.

Erm - not too well, only had time for a quick look so far and can't see how the front centre of the dash comes off (MY99)to get behind the heater controls. Also no idea what bulb I need either..............

Doh!

If you have the newer dash you will have sliders for the heater controls. Dyney has done his and could give you some pointers.
(sorry Dyney, but you are soooo helpful!)

If you have the old dash with 3 ***** for heater, air & direction
then mail me.

Hi Paul,

Thanks but the instructions in that thread are for the -97 dash and mine is the 99, like the Forrester

Someone must have had it apart to colour code it etc
