dont know if ive posted in the best place however looking to purchase best most suitable easyfitted cheapest u know the thing tripod for camcorder to be used on track days etc. can u help.

any adjustable tripod will do, as there are three seperate legs that are over about three feet ( basically as long as there isn't one long arm going down to 3 scabby short legs at the bottom). You put one leg behind each seat and put the third one in between the centre console and either or the front two seats, just shorten each leg accordingly, simple to do and very affective. Well thats what i do anyway

That doesn't sound particularly secure, don't/shouldn't you strap it to a seat or something too?

it is held in fairly tight when you wedge it between the seat and the centre console. But of course you can also secure it through the harness hole it the front seats too
