Has anyone ordered one of these from Subaru? They are supposed to be 118 quid +vat and comes with all fitting. Can someone please validate this and give their opinions on how they look etc.

Thanks

Hi, The gauge that I presume you are referring to is the column mount version made by Lamco. I had one of these fitted to my UK300. Works a treat and is very smooth operation. I picked this gauge over after market verions as the background of black & white with yellow needles matches the standard my01 dash, also looks fairly neate sat on the steering column. Illumination is bright but lights up white not green (bulb change possible i guess).
Hope this helps...

Got mine fitted before delivery of new STi, not very well fitted tbh, dealer ran the wiring up the outside of the steering column and it looks a bit nasty.

On my WRX ScoobySport ran the wiring up the inside of the column and it looked far neater, also mounted it on the right side of column and I think its less obstructive there.

Cool

That is the same part number that I had fitted. I had mine fitted on left hand side (my request), wiring down inside of steering column, very neate job. Well done Tiley's

The Subaru boost gauge is a Lamco item, had it fitted originaly to my MY01 WRX, wanted to include oil temp and pressure gauges so got a set of Defi gauges, IMHO far better looking plus the additional features (peak readings etc...).The Defi's also suit my Sti7 better because the needles are red as in the car and sit in a nice carbon pod. All supplied by Nito and Jane at NITOSPORT

Cool

Shane, i didn't buy the gauges and pod all at once because in my MY01 i had them fitted differently, (Nito even swapped my 52mm gauges for a set of 60mm to fit the pod free of charge) but Nito does offer a pack price for 3 gauges and a carbon pod as per details on his website.
