Defi Gauges

When you switch your ignition on to the auxilliary position what happens on your gauges and the control box. My Oil Pressure gauge also shows the warning lamp on constantly along with a continuous buzzing from the control box. If I actually start the car then the gauges act correctly. Is this normal.

Have you set the limit on the oil pressure gauge???
Don't know about any buzzing from the control unit, if its a new MkII unit maybe its a new feature to accompany the light?
Mine don't buzz anyway!

My mistake. Apparantly the Oil Pressure gauge will cause the Control unit to beep when the ignition is on but the engine is not started. As soon as the egine is started the beeping stops.

Yes. Although I have a problem with the wiring at the moment. I can't do anymore now until the weekend but I have double checked the Positive, Ignition and earth feeds so that they are correct but the unit will not turn on until the lights are switched to sidelights. I guess there is a problem with the feed for illumination but until Saturday I will not know more.
