I have a GReddy/Trust water temperature gauge in a pod on the A pillar.
Couple of nights ago whilst parked up the needle appears to travelled 360 degrees and lodged behind the pin. Now it does not show anything !
Two questions:
1 How can I fix it ?
2 Why would it happen ?

In the absence of any other ideas I took the gauge apart and pushed the needle back! ! It has behaved for a couple of days but I would love to know why it happened in the first place !

clutching at straws here but it sounds like a faulty earth, usually if you get a bad earth then the needle goes all the way to the top (and pretty rapid at that). cheers nomad
