So, how the h3ll do you get the 60mm gauges in the 60mm holes, with those stupid rubber bands the thickness of the Great Wall of China???
Am I missing something here, but this seems impossible at the minute without taking another 1mm out of the hole.
Anyone else had the same pain???
Cheers

Cheers Steve
Since the weather has been diabolical today, I haven't had the opportunity to go out and do anything in the engine bay department, and as given me the chance to get the gauges in the pod.
Seriously, it has taken me most of the day to do this. At one point, I considered doing what you did, but didn't fancy them coming loose later when installed. Strange that when you buy 60mm gauges that are intended for a 60mm tripple pod, that you have to install the gauges with about 4-5mm of rubber.
As the pod has been painted already, I have had to carefully file the holes diameter out a bit at a time until I got it right, and even then I had to use some fairy liquid to force then in.
Put it this way, they aint coming out now.
Cheers for the tip anyway
