Default Stereo wiring harness

What's the deal with this?

http://www.halfords.com/technology/c...ector-pc2-44-4

Will this fit any headunit or will I need to cut and splice wires......

I'm under the impression that most if not all headunits now have the same female connection but I might be full of ****.

I've ordered the single din fascia and the harness above is on its way to my nearest Halfrauds store for me to collect and that's when I'll purchase a headunit in store.

Cheers

I purchased one of these yesterday from Halfords and fitted a new JVC double DIN stereo to my 06 Hawkeye with no problems.

That's good to know, I don't mind having to solder wires if I have to but it's great when there's not that hassle. I'm looking forward to having a stereo with all the functions of Bluetooth and USB connection etc.....plus the extra storage with the single din will be great.
