Default Sound deadening

Has anyone ran their car with the rear stripped out and then later removed the sound deadening?

Is there much difference in exhaust noise coming in?

On my classic I just removed the rear seats and it made an huge amount of difference. I can not comment on the sound deadening, but I think it will be slightly more louder and plus you might hear more of the stone chips hitting under the car.
