Default sti genome dials fail

Over winter the oil temp reading and oil pressure reading started to go intermittent between reading erroneously and correctly until they eventually just read as zero the whole time now. Anyone in the stoke on trent area have experience with this problem?

Fitted to 2003 jdm sti. Cheers

yes the light is flashing. in the manual this denotes loss of signal. however it is not specific to where or why there is a loss of signal.

First job is to check back along the wiring from the gauge to the sender. Look for chafing, loose or corroded connections etc.

If all is well, suspect the senders.

I had the very same problem on my old impreza. Turned out the sender had failed.
