Default steering wheel

Quick question. As i cant find a defiitive answer on here. Will an sti wheel fix straight onto my wrx without any hassle? Same year.

Should...but you MAY find slight problems with..
a) airbag connectors,
b) horn wiring and ...
c) indicator cancelling unless you get the "clockspring".

Plenty of threads abt wheel removal.

Your best bet is to get a clock spring this will give the correct connecters that will save you a load of time. The clock spring depths do vary from different models that can cause an issue with the indicators not switching off on their own.

This can be fixed by adjusting the fixing mount. just test it all before you put it back together.

MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS DISSCONECTED :-) you do not want it to go off in your face

Be carefull not to accidently set the airbag off in your face.

The wheel i had seen advertised had the clock spring with it. Same year of manufacture too.

Go for it I have put a Hawk STI wheel in my Prodrive as I hate the Momo ones

I think i will. And maybe get it trimmed in alcantara or suede first. Always wanted a rally style wheel and my sweaty palms sometime loose grip wheel driving spritely haha
