Bargain Insurance Once Again!
Hi guys, this time last year I was quoted £590 by adrian flux to cover my 2005 wrx. Quite a few on here seemed shocked on how low that price was - I was 27, 3 points, 5 years NCB.
Sent my renewal price last week - £606? Makes no sense to me.
Quick scan of the tesco compare site and I now am insured with esure for £318!
The joys of living in the middle of nowhere in Wales!
Defo give that Tesco site a quick check when renewal is due. Knocked over a ton off just by putting my dad as a named driver.

Thats incredible! Just insured my first scoob, 12 year old and totally unmodified, I'm 52 with 15 years no claims, parked on street in a medium risk post code. Searched hi and lo before going with K Michaels, fully comp with bells and whistles cost £745 (inc tax) and a whopping £450 excess! Maybe its down to the fact that I've never owned a car with more than 130 brake?!

Medium risk postcode is my guess, where I live I don't think I have ever heard of a car getting damaged / stolen. But on the downside, I'm ten miles from a Tesco, and surrounded by people in their 80s!
My excess is £400 I think.

Just renewed mine today via keith michaels, 97 wrx, all mods declared (simtek,fmic,3"exhaust,induction,sti 9interior loads of carbon bits etc,) 8years NCB, fully comp with the mrs as a named driver,£660 all in. Greeenlight were very competivr, in fact £15 cheaper, but theyre excess was £500 as opposed to KM's £350, exactly same policy witg royal victoria.

I'm just outside of Abergele, North Wales.. Far enough away to bring the cost down!
Adrian Flux where a nightmare with me. Cracking price last year, but a letter arrives through the post demanding that I pay the remainder of the balance or insurance will be cancelled. That was about 3 months in. Still had no explanation about it!
