Default Classic car insurance for Impreza

Hi all, has anybody here managed to insure there Impreza on a classic policy? My previous weekend toy was an '89 944 Turbo which I bought in 2008 and managed to insure on a classic, restricted mileage policy for £200 per year. I'm looking at a '94-'96 RA, and am told that many insurers will view anything older than 15 years as a classic, but just can't seem to find anybody who will do an Impreza on a classic policy? If I can't find one them it's probably a deal breaker for me! Thanks guys, Ben.

Is it a second car doing limited mileage? If so, try the normal classic car insurers. If it isn't, you will really struggle.

Hi Ollie, yes it's a 2nd car with limited mileage, probably less than 5000 miles, but I've tried a few of the usual classic insurers and it is still coming out much more than my old Porsche?

It will do.. it's one of, if not the highest risk car in the UK as far as car insurers are concerned.

If you are looking for a sub £300 quote I feel you will struggle.

Keep shopping around though.
