Submitting Mod list for insurance purposes
Just typed one up and was wondering if you think this is overkill or could be adjusted somehow?
And yes I think I've lost the ability to think for myself

If you declare everything even the smallest they cannot refuse if you make a claim. Seen a thread on a site where something none performance was changed and not declared and the insurance said tough.

I fitted a genuine Citroen roof rack onto my old Berlingo van and had to declare that. The insurers classed it as a modification. And the signwriting on the sides and back too.
Tell them everything, then they've no excuses.

I'd be getting that in writing personally and not driving the car until I had it confirmed in writing, what a complete nonsense. It is not the first time I've heard this particular insurer banding around absolutely absurd advice.
