Default 23 Year Old Insurance - New Turbo

Unfortunately, Keith Michaels/Gary will only insure you if you're over 25 unless it's an existing policy.

Currently I'm with admiral paying about 1000 for my 2001 uk wrx inc exhaust and wheel mods however I want to add a turbo and they won't cover me if I do. *So not sure where to try as the best I can get on price comparison sites is about 4 grand BEFORE mods!

Any ideas?

What about A-Plan, do you have to be 25 for them as I know you do with all the other board sponsors?

With age restrictions every case is different, if you give me a call on 01635 874646 I will see if I can help.

Thanks

Thanks but I literally just spoke to your colleague and they said they couldn't do anything as I've only owned the car 6 months. Thanks anyway.

Thats because you are going from a low group car to a pretty high group car, the STI is a group 43 now, think the wrx is a 39, as there are only 50 groups you can see they are pretty highly rated.

Probably because I have 5 years no claims and live in quite a low risk area. I also found that when getting quoted for a classic it was much worse than a newage although not too sure why that would be. If you have multiple cars check out Admiral Multicar as that saves me around £300 so I only pay 950 for fully comp with guaranteed no claims and with a few mods too, bit of a bargain!

I have a WRX turbo but was looking at upgrading to a bigger turbo however after ringing around everywhere, it seems nobody will insure me until I'm 25 for this. So I shall stick with the WRX or get an STi as I can get insured on that for a reasonable price. Thanks.

I'm 21 with a newage WRX and I'm paying £1200 with admiral but i got a quote for my dads WR1 which has 100bhp more and it was exactly the same price so you would definetly be better off by getting a more powerful version.
