Hi im wanting to know off any 23 year olds or younger preferably with sti' who there getting insured with and for how much?

Reason im asking is im 23 with 2 years ncb and 6 years driving experience would be 4 years ncb but never ran policys for full length unfortunatly. im getting quoted £1200 more than i was in november and im struggling to find a price i can afford.

Any info from others my age would be appreciated.

You're making the assumption his policy will come with 3rd party cover for borrowing cars. A large number of insurers no longer include this extra cover so your advice may be useless as well as poor.

If you can't afford to legally run a car, then it's best not to buy it.

What!!! That's cheap. I'm 23, had the subaru for 3 years, 4 years NCB, no infringements and still pay £2,200

Oh god

Sure Moley will clarify that the suggested idea above is ILLEGAL, otherwise EVERYONE would do it

Its not cheap i said £1200 more than in november. My quote if i paid in 1 go is £2800 which i dont think is bad but cant afford all in one go for paying monthly it now shoots up to £4500 for year where as in november it was £3400.
Who do you insure yours with stig and what car is it?

I have thought about doing this and driving it third party on my policy but dont know the ins and outs of this which would be good if moley could clarify on this as i thought you could drive any car with owners permission if you had any car third party in your policy.

Yes, it's illegal.
And you won't find an insurer who'll give the driving other cars to under 25 year olds.

AJC1988 - try Admiral

Cheers for clearing that up. Admiral is who have quoted me that price above and cant explain how it has gone up over £90 a month since november.

I just cant believe how much insurance is costing now i no next year it will drop because i will be 25 but no company seems intrested in insuring me evrn though ive got experience with imprezas and if they do there wanting to pull my pants down and bend me over.

This is meant in any way against you moley as i know theres nothing you can do iys just insurance companys in general.

Insurers just seem to be refusing to look at under 25 year olds on performance cars at the moment unfortunately

You can't tell some people, Gary.

I'll go with an industry professional with years of experience (who also happens to insure my Impreza very competitively) over a "he said, she said" random bloke on the internet.

Again, if it wasn't illegal then WHY ISN'T EVERYONE DOING IT?

Well maybe stop offering advice which is illegal then. That's the whole point, to be insured, which if following your "advice" he would not be - an insurance guy has confirmed it for you.

I'll repeat ONE LAST TIME - if it was legal and 100% koshur, why doesn't everyone do it?

I'll leave it at that because I know you can't answer the question
