Im with admiral mate.

27, 9 years ncb. I also have a classic 2000 turbo with a lot of mods both on the outside and in the engine which are all declared. I also have a Hyundai Coupe 02 plate and both cars cost me just over a grand.

Coupe £300
Impreza £700 a rough break down.

I tried all three companies on here and the quote from those was from Gary Moulson, however the cheapest quote I got was from Aviva and they were £200 cheaper than Gary

Just shop around and hope for the best, but comparison sites are ****e unless the car is standard. Then they may be of some use lol

Do it online mate you will be very surprised at the difference as you can adjust your quote.

well no doubt i probably pay the most on here, I believe I pay the most on scoobycity lol.. and trust me its nothing to be proud of

£4500... cheapest I could find and thats Tesco, others either wont insure me or give a similar price - the worst part is that 3rd party fire and theft!!!! And yes I actually accepted that quote when buying my scooby 2 months ago...

yea, thats what i did. u can change ur excess and other things which brings it down a lot. think it was a 10month policy aswell so u can clock up ur NCB quicker.

haha i wish that was the case.. (besides could never afford that at the age of 17 lol)

instead i'm 24, live in a privately rented top floor flat with a secure underground parking area only accessible by residents of which only professionals are allowed to live!! (which is awesome btw lol).

I even have an immob (toad sterling excel) - pretty sure a tracker will bring it down somewhat..

and thats in gravesend, kent - so not a bad area at all...

I think they just dont like my TT99 that sits on my licence tbh.. lol

trackers only take about £20 off insurance, i know from experience.
£4500 for insurance i would rather drive a nissan micra than pay that, who is that with?

well sod that then lol!

haha its with Tesco (was them and one other who will even insure me and both gave pretty much same price), I wanted a scooby so was/am willing to pay for it even if it means such a high premium - its a 10month policy as well which is helpful, should with any luck go down next year as will be 25 this month and will have 2 NCB under my belt and my licence will be completely clean - so will expect a MASSIVE drop (or at least I better) haha - and you'll never see me dead a micra

I'm with Admiral but Pace & Ward are wicked, I'm swapping to them next year, they're really performance car friendly, and if you have a full comp policy with them, comprehensive track day insurance is just £75 a go!

been there done that - alas no luck - I think I'm just destined to have a high premium for the time being.. few years more years to my age and should be fine, bare in mind this is the first time i have ever had my own policy (always been under a parents or partners to save on the pennies), but decided sod it, its time to rack up some no-claims.. quite possibly the worst car to decide to do that with but meh, probably the only car i've had where i actually enjoy the drive and honestly don't mind paying a lot as a result, so not all that bad, although an extra £4k in my pocket would be nice haha.

I did have some other quotes I think one was admiral and they came in at £7.5k LOL!! I think the correct term is haha

I'm with A-Plan
Chris done me a good deal so i went there and its nice to know that its a Company that has Humams that answer the phone AND understand about our Cars abd the Mods we do
I got all mods declared for just over a Monkey

Two weeks after i took out the Policy, my Screen went and i had a very hassle free service done by a company that are NOT on a Price so can take there time in fitting correctly. Also use Genuine Subaru Screens
Then get a follow up call from the Insurance to see if everything is ok so they get my vote all day long

I'm paying £571 with performance direct.
I'm 35 with 11+ years no claims on a standard type R with 3 alarms(don't ask).

Not understanding that matey! I did a quote as if I was 21 with 3 years no claims on a 2003 Blob (turbo, no mods) and got 1700 quid? Which I thought was okay.

Bit strange that!
