Hello,recently moved to Edinburgh and i was thinking of buying a impreza.I am 27 years old.Can someone tell me because i dont know the average cost for an insurance for impreza gc8 or sti 2003 model??I tried getting quotes but i was confused.Thank you...

stay away from comparison sites, speak to moley on here (he works for keith michaels), i hear he is a genius when its scoobys, also aplan i hear are not bad.

theres a few posts in the insurance section that tell you about peoples experiences

if its much help i am 24 with a 2004 sti type uk, modded to around 380bhp, all mods declared with HIC and i pay around 900 a year FC with protected no claims

Have you brought the car already? I think it help if youv'e had a years experience of driving the car. Also your not in a no go postcode.

I got a jdm hawk, 29 and no NC bonus as have had a company van(company insurance) since I was 18 and no penalty points and it costs me £1400 a yr
Get quotes before you get the car lol

I have had very good experience with A-Plan and have also heard great things about Moley @ Keith Michaels - but make sure you speak with him directly.

Don't bother with the comparison sites, I did for a few years and they really are not good deals at all. Easier, sure - but you get a bum deal tbh.

A-Plan or Moley all the way and you'll be sorted

I disagree on the comparison sites. Last year was my 1st year owning a Scoob and I had a non-fault accident awaiting resolution. A-Plan and KM wouldn't touch me, nor would Sky. Admiral through Go Compare were the cheapest in the end. It's worth exploring all the options as you just never know
