Steer clear and go somewhere else like A-plan or Keith Michaels.

One of the worst companies i have dealt with. Performance specialists! lol they refused some mods, charged £25 for every change and never ring back when you need them.
Keith Michaels are ment to be good, but after never ringing me back after several calls i gave up and took my business elsewhere

Changed to Sky who are spot on, quick to answer, know plenty about modifications and added all my mods on like for like for now extra charge.

Would recommend Keith Michaels to anyone. Gary Moulson knows his stuff and in some cases you don,t pay extra for mods. I,ve heard that it can be hard getting hold of Gary on the phone but I,ve never had that problem. Steve.

Do mods ie. exhaust / remapp etc normally hike up the quote with KM /sky etc ??

I had the following added to my policy(Sky), didnt cost any extra and mods are covered like for like:
Air Filter/Induction
Full exhaust system
Prodrive Intercooler/piping
Prodirve Spoiler
Flushed boot
Grooved brake disks

Depends on insurers, but generally not.
Most insurers we use prefer modified cars, as the claim stats are much lower than standard ones.
