Default Cheapest insurance possible for a SORN'd vehicle.

As per title, my toy is currently SORN'd. I'd rather not lose the 9+ years of NCB on it but I'm damned if I'm going to pay £900 to insure it for 12 months.

Any help or advice I'd be grateful for.

Cheers,

J.

So long as you re-use the NCB within two years of when you last cancelled it, you will be fine.

Alternatively, you can try a company that offers laid up cover, you may still have to pay full premium, but you will get a rebate for the time that it isn't being used.

Hope this helps,

Chris
