Default Multiple policies on one car

Hello

Been trying to find out if it is legal for 2 people to both have their own separate policies on one car. Basically my borther needs a car for the summer, but I don't want to risk my no claims so hoping to avoid putting him on as a named driver. Been looking round internet and have seen conflicting answers of illegal and legal.

Hoping some of the insurance vendors on here could give me a definate answer.

Thanks very much, Jonny

I think you can suspend your policy then when you get car back restart it up again might be easier option
