Default Reduction in annual mileage and Value of vehicle

Just a quick question for Gary at Keith Michaels but i know your busy and as there is no rush for an answer thought i would post it on here as others may know

My question is basically would dropping my annual milage and value of the vehicle on the insurance docs make a big difference to the premium.

I have a 2000 classic wagon which is down on the insurance as having a value of about 5k and annual milage of about 10,000 if i recall.

If i dropped the value to about £3,500 and milage to say 6-7k would this make a big difference to premium?

Thanks

Not really using mine either. Have gone from doing 15k miles per year down to below 5k (probably less).
Does seem pointless having it really.... but those 5k miles do make it worth while!!!

Ha ha i know what you meant, the odd blast does make it all worth while thats for sure.

Just out of interest do you do second car insurance policies or is it a case i would have to start a second policy starting off with 0 NCB.

Its only cos i have the option of buying my brothers M reg golf TDI which does 60 odd to the gallon and is a great little runner so was wondering if i kept that i could use that day to day for short journeys around town if cheap enough then use the scoob to have a blast on long journeys.

But obviously if i have to start from scratch on the golf then its not worth keeping it at all.

If i could sell the scoob i would keep the golf but if the golf goes first then the scoob stays

Second car policies are fine, not a problem at all to mirror your NCB (very common thing to do these days)
