.....and the contact details. That way we can build a thread that has hopefully a list of scoob friendly insurers. Can you also mention if your car is modified eg. exhaust, filter or standard. We don't need a list of your mods, just say yes or no. It just helps to know if the insurer will accept the basic mods people do.

Example

Tesco 0845 300 4400
Mods: Yes

If somebody has a link to a previous thread like this can you please let me know.

Thanks

Guy

Been stalking on here for some time and just had to comment on this excellent thread.

Just had my renewal quote from Norwich Union Direct (0800 888 222) - £670.48

32 yo, 5 yrs NCD, £270 XS, courtesy car, breakdown cover. Car garaged overnight. MY94 5 Door with full PPP. This is actually listed as being "no modifications" and i seem to remember that they knew exactly what it was when i mentioned it. Only got standard immobiliser and alarm. Think there is a discount if a tracker is fitted as well.
Pleasantly surprised to find that this was actually cheaper than last years quote despite adding business use to the policy.

Just got a quote from Liverpool and Victoria (0800 514 514) - £633.90. Does anyone know what their service is like? Is there a great deal of difference between companies? Do some companies offer better "quality" insurance. Thanks in advance.
