Cool Need a quote for a 26 year old with 3 years N/C 0 points modded WRX??

Hi guys I am 26 in a coouple of weeks when my renewal is due.... I have been paying way too much from all my past insurers like £1800 was for last year.

I have 3 years no claims and No convictions or claims in the past 5 years (banned 6 years ago)

I have a few mods to the car it has a STI wing and Exhaust, 10% Chip, dump valve and a boost valve.

Where is the best place to get a quote for one like me?

your help would be greatful ended up paying about £1800 last year for F/C

Thanks

Neil

The Scoobynet insurers would be a good place to start!

Try the usual suspects for modded Scoobies -

Have tried these before (im 27, 9 years NCB, no convictions or penalties on a modded 2005 WRX PPP).

A-Plan - general insurance broker, they are UK wide so dont expect a performance car knowledgable person on the phone, quoted me £850 last year fully comp. Quoted £900 this year - no thanks.

Keith Michaels - can never get hold of them but offer good quotes if you do, tried last year. Gary from KM is on here, PM him.

SKY insurance - bit pricey for me, again general insurer.

Adrian Flux - got my money this year, £740 fully comp. Guy on phone seemed knowledgeable of modded cars. They are a broker so my insurance was actually with Aviva. They advertise to be modified car insurance specialists. Have seen mixed reviews of them but were ok with me and I have heard they are not keen on insuring scoobies due to their high risk factor from boy racers and theft etc but this may have been in the past.

Lastly, you could 'try' confused.com/go compare etc and see what that reveals.

Hope that helps.

As above, they are generally the best.

Also try Greenlight.

My renewal went to A-Plan this year...as it did the year before.
