Am I wasting my time?

Am I wasting my time?
I moved to a company car in may 2007 and at that time I had a decent amount of no claims.
It's hard to be exact but in 2001 I had 5 years and have renewed every year though at times the history is back to "more than 5 years"....bloody direct line.
I had one claim in oct 2006, car theft but had protected ncb.
I have had no claims whilst having the company car.
I now want to get a car of my own to go alongside the company car (Mazda eunos ) but can't get anyone to give me any ncd unless my company car is going then they will give me loads!
Anyone any ideas who I could try? I only to insue it for circa 3k miles per year

As above, most brokers will take your driving experience into account rather than just your NCB level, so make a few phonecalls to the usual suspects (Keith Michaels, Sky, A Plan, Greenlight etc)
