Pay out problems
#1
I work away from home quite a lot, and have recently heard a tale of a guy whos car was stolen from outside a hotel, the insurance refused to pay out when they found out the car was not regularly garaged at his home address. Anyone been in this unfortunate position? Should I decclare this to my insurance company?

Jim,
it could be that the guy hadnt put business use on his car and was using it for that, but as per most of these stories you dont really know all the facts
If your just using the car for social/domestic and pleasure you should be ok, if you use it for your job then ensure you have business use on there too.
