If I go with direct line who im currently insured with they have asked for a tracker to be fitted. My question is, will the give you so long to get the tracker fiteed or does it need to be in place on swap over of the policy? If they wont let you do this then how can you buy, collect and the arrange for the tracker to be fitted???

I know when i got mine insured with Tesco's a while back they siad if my car was stolen before the tracker was fitted they would not pay out. I could drive the car but had the risk of it getting stolen on my head.

With the way insurance companies try to get out of paying for anything these days you should always check with them. I deal with insurcance companies quite alot for my job and it seems they live by the CYA moto(Cover Your ****). The ignorance defense is not worth the paper its printed on either.

dont go wih dirct line they arent the cheapest out there although competative they wanted stupid money to put a cat back exaust on
