Uprated discs with tescos??
#1
All four corners of my scooby need replacing and i was thinking of getting a set of uprated discs and pads all round. I wasn't going for the full on 6 pot system, just a drilled and groved set at standard size.
My question is - How does Tesco view this sort of mod? are they really strict when it comes to brakes or not??
Also what uprated discs and pads would you recommend???

Don't get drilled and grooved, just grooved, when discs are drilled there is a chance that when hot they are easier to fracture. Also don't get EBC, I made that mistake
As for insurance - its a safety feature and replacement not upgrade so shouldn't add much at all, if anything. Mine co, said it was 0

I'm in the process of replacing the cr@ppy standard front discs and pads on my MY97 with Scoobysports PAgid kit ie keeping the 2 pot calipers. Rang Tescos and said that I was having non-standard brakes and hoses fitted as part of a service - after consulting the underwriters they said no extra charge
