Trakers how much
#2
Hello Paul
I had to have a tracker fitted on my turbo last year.I went for a "NAVTRAK" unit...(only because I'm in the trade and got it for cash!!!!!!)I paid about £350inc, but the retail price is closer to £400!!!! Unfortunatly you also have to pay an annual subscription to "NAVTRAK" of about £120!(no discount there!!!!)There are quite a few different products about, some which need disarming as you enter the car, some not(like mine)..some work if the car is moved, some have to activated by you,ie. when you return 3 hours later and find your car gone, you call them and they turn it on!!
RAC do one called RAC TRACKSTAR..loads of money but a good product...voted the best in a recent magazine survey
hope this helps a bit
enjoy!

I think with the RAC version you can pay for it over three years on interest free credit - so not a bad offer. Details on their website I think.

RAC offer is only good if you keep the car 3 + years as the lifetime memebership is non transferable and you still have to pay for it (even if you sell the car) and if you transfer the unit to a new car you loose the lifetime cover and have to pay for cover again
Also if you go for the 0% option they don't offer RAC members discount for some reason
Anyway I'm on the lookout for a tracker too so let me know if you get a good deal
