Keith Michaels get my money again
Been with KM since I got my RA so I thought I'd shop around now that the renewal was up.
But to be honest had no luck with my situation (driven company cars over the years and never had a car for more than 6 months).
Moley get's the limelight a lot but his colleague Fraser gets a thumbs up from me, not the biggest reduction but still competitive and well below the silly figures I was getting elsewhere.
Cheers chaps,
Fz

is KM the best insurer for subarus? (spec c)
i am just on my 3rd year of driving. (never claimed)
age 26
first car was a seat leon cupra R (210BHP) if that gives me any brownie points.
also admiral (reminded by ad to the left) was the cheapest quote on gocompare. i specified it was a jap import too.
ill try KM, admiral, is there any others i should try given my circumstances
cheers!!

Well a spec c is a grp 20 car, they are not easy to drive and alot of companies wont insure on drivers under 30 on JDM imports (plus they like alot of high performance car experience) BUT its still worth asking any of the above especially KM (but make sure you speak to Gary )

i was gonna get either an audi S4 or an M3 which were group 20's i think, i got quoted for they cars alright.. spec c is a jap import though, but the audi and the bmw both have 340bhp, which is a little more than the spec c (i think - it has had some improvements)

Never had an E46 M3 keep up with me in my last spec c and that was running the jap map! pulled away more at higher speeds too! but they are a little harder to drive than the above 2, they take some serious concentration and can tire you out.
Hope you get a good quote though KM would be my best bet, but some insurers wont touch under 30's on JDM imports like Spec C's.... (parts are actually more expensive on a spec c than a normal STI due to them being uprated).

I'll be giving Gary Moulson a ring on Monday as my insurance is due in January, Already had a good price off Confused.com (£150 off last years premium)off quick fit of all people, So it will be interesting to see what Gary can do.
I don't know about C specs, but I find my Prodrive WRX extremely easy to drive. Probably the safest car I've driven.
